Updated: 2022-05-12 11:07:57

Recently the journalist learned from a bird's-eye view of Liulinzhou Park from the drone that the structural layout of the entire park has taken shape, presenting a lovely picture of clear water, green grass and beautiful, eco-friendly scenery.

●Cover a total area of 125.4 hectares

Liulinzhou Park starts from Liulin 4th Road on the east and borders Ocean Wharf on the west, adjacent to Jingjiang Embankment on the north and the Yangtze River on the south. 2,255 meters in length and 500 to 570 meters in width, the Park covers a total area of 125.4 hectares.

● With a structure system of “Four Zones + One Center”

The Park plans to create a structure system consisting of "four zones and one center", i.e., wetland restoration area, sports area, leisure area, riverside landscape area, and oil tank art center.

● Infrastructure planning

Specifically, it is planned to build 45 sports fields, including 4 football fields, 15 badminton courts, 6 basketball courts, 8 tennis courts, 4 volleyball courts, 3 beach volleyball courts and 5 croquet courts. There will be 6 indoor venues, including badminton hall, volleyball hall, table tennis hall, fitness club, children's entertainment area and elderly entertainment area. In addition, the Park will offer 900 ecological parking spaces.

This year, Shashi District kicked off the top ten actions to protect the Yangtze River at a higher level, accelerated the pace of ecological protection and restoration (such as Liulinzhou Project), and effectively improved the carrying capacity of the ecological environment. Currently, thanks to the construction of Liulinzhou Park that is well underway, the landscape along the Yangtze River has been significantly improved and promoted, making the Park an ideal place for citizens and tourists to rest and have fun.
